The district has three separate buildings to support the students.  Our Riverside Academy is located on Toledo Street and is home to our Alternative Education students.  Classes are available for students in grades 9 – 12 who have difficulties attending a traditional high school.

Dundee Elementary and Dundee Middle School are located on Ypsilanti Street and work with about 1,200 of the district students.

All elementary students are provided a strong academic core of reading, writing, math, science and social studies.  “Special” classes are taught to all students in vocal music, art, physical education, and computer technology.   Academic assistance is available to all elementary students.  Title I services are available to students who qualify.  The focus of this program is on reading, writing and math.

The middle school program, grades 5-8, continues to focus on the core curriculum of Language arts, math, science and social studies.  In addition to computer technology, art, and vocal music students are encouraged to explore some new offerings such as:  physical education, swimming, foreign language, instrumental music, industrial arts and inter-scholastic athletics.  The middle school’s unique schedule provides time during the day to address all students’ academic needs.  On alternating years, Dundee and Yoshida Mache, Japan exchange a contingent of students and staff to their sister cities.  Students and staff stay in homes for the three week summer cultural experience.

Dundee High School is located on 130 Viking Drive.  The high school offers a rigorous and diverse curriculum to meet the needs of all students.  Tech prep and advanced placement classes are available.  We also offer opportunities for dual enrollment for students who qualify.  Our students are provided educational travel opportunities through school programs as Project Close-Up, a one week study in Washington D.C.  Our foreign language department offers international travel designed to add a cultural experience to the curriculum.  Our athletic program offers several opportunities for students to excel outside of the classroom.
